Potters boss determined to continue momentum in top-of-the-table Championship encounter
MARK Robins has fallen in love with Stoke City as he prepares to take on old club Coventry in a first-vs-second battle at a packed out bet365 Stadium.
Levelheaded Robins isn’t going to get carried away with Stoke’s league position at this stage of the season - but he is not going to underplay it either.
He wants to take Stoke back to the Premier League and has great faith in the team that is working around him that they are finally on the right path again. He is excited by the potential as well as the progress he has already witnessed in the 10 months since he took charge.
"We have got our objectives, we've got our way of working and that incremental improvement, that trajectory we want to be on, is going to take us to where we eventually want to get to," he said. "There is no hiding from that, we all want to be in the top league, we all want to work there. There is no two ways about it and I'm not going to hide away from that.
