Police warning after rise in anti-social use of fireworks

Houses' as police were called to yet another incident involving rockets.

Officers had been sent to the recreation ground in Birches Head after concerns were raised over the proximity to homes.

Now Staffordshire Police say they are working with Stoke-on-Trent City Council over what is becoming a near-permanent issue in the Potteries. Previously The Sentinel has reported on the antisocial use of fireworks around Hanley, Dresden, Lightwood, Hanley Park and Longton Park.
