Ceramic art inspired by pop megastar on show
ROBBIE Williams has turned his artistic talents to pottery - and his creations go on display in the city of his birth today.
The pop megastar, who is part way through a European tour, has created four technicolour ceramic artworks.
The pieces are being exhibited at Hanley's Potteries Museum & Art Gallery's Fine Art Gallery to celebrate Stoke-on-Trent's centenary.
Inspired by two drawings by Robbie of Jesus and The Pope, the former Take That star's vision has been brought to life by Barlaston-based ceramic design brand 1882 Ltd.
They will sit alongside 60 specially commissioned plates created by designers including Zandra Rhodes, Bruce McLean and Barber & Osgerby on display for the first time as part of the 100 Years, 60 Designers & 1 Future exhibition.
