THE LATEST CMF PHONE AND BUDS OFFER STARTLING VALUE AND SOME FUN FEATURES

- JUSTIN CONNOLLY

IT can hardly have had time to draw breath in the short time since March's launch of its flagship series 3 phones, but Nothing is not standing still.

This week the company launched the second iteration of its sub-brand CMF's smartphone the CMF by Nothing Phone Pro 2... and it's another smasher.

I've been using one for a week or so, and I have been impressed by the extraordinary value it represents.

The first CMF phone featured a modular design that allowed users to change the colour of the phone by taking off its backplate and screwing a new one in place. This system also allowed the addition of a few extra accessories a stand, a lanyard, and a card holder.

Things are a bit different for round two the swappable back is gone, and the range of accessories expanded. This time you can add a combined card holder and stand (which attaches magnetically), a lanyard, and a pair of interchangeable lenses.
