New kids' play area is a real sister act!
The Sentinel
|May 28, 2025
TWO sisters have launched their first business - a new children’s soft play area.
The Snug Stay and Play Café, in Cheadle, aims to offer an ‘inclusive space’ catering to parents, children and those with disabilities.
Created by Jade Starkey-Bossons and Amy Bossons, it offers traditional café fare, sensory nights, breastfeeding clubs and a nappy bank.
Jade, aged 27, said: “My sister always wanted to run a café and I always wanted to do something with children. So we merged the two ideas together. We saw that there weren't really any services like this in Cheadle, so we thought we’d fill the gap in the market. A little place where mums, parents and caregivers can go to have a hot drink and some hot food while the kids have fun.
“My sister studied interior design at university, so she’s crafted the space in a very deliberate way. No matter where you're sitting inside, you can see your child clearly. That means you can let them go off and play independently while you sit back and unwind for a bit.
