DARREN Moore says he always believed his Port Vale team would create chances the longer the Barnsley game continued as his team ran out 2-0 victors.

The Valiants boss saw his side almost concede early on when Barnsley looked to seize the initiative.
But chances became few and far between for the hosts as the match wore on and overall, Moore was delighted with the victory, which moved the club up to 16th in the League One table.
“It was a really good team in Barnsley, we knew it was a difficult game,’ Moore told Port Vale TV.
“T think we knew they are a wonderful, fluid possession-based team and we knew that off the ball defensively we had to be right and as the game wore on we could throw more caution to the wind and that chances would come.
“We thought we had the better chances throughout the game and it was about capitalising on them.
“And we managed to get the two goals in the second half and the three points.”
