Moore: Valiants players will have chances to impress...

DARREN Moore admits that opportunity knocks for one of his Port Vale players when they entertain Cardiff City tonight.

Left-back Jaheim Headley begins a three-match suspension following his red card in Saturday's 2-1 League One loss at Rotherham United.
Boss Moore has options to fill that role - and also hopes that Headley has learned lessons from his weekend dismissal.
"It's disappointing to lose Jaheim. He certainly will have learned from it," Moore said in his pre-match press conference.
"That's what you hope in these circumstances, when you lose a man and you are a man down you hope that Jaheim has learned with this situation for the rest of the season.
"To lose him at this stage, it is what it is, and it opens the door for somebody else."
That could be Kyle John, Sam Hart or Jack Shorrock and Moore says his squad is vital given the Rotherham game was one of seven fixtures in August.
"We spoke about that, when the season starts, you won't get the opportunity to almost come up for air because fixtures are coming," said Moore.
"Look how quickly this one [Cardiff] has come around and after this one there's another one on Tuesday [Blackpool away in the EFL Cup].
"Then there is a lunchtime kickoff on the following Saturday [at Burton Albion, 12.30pm].
