Moore urges players to carry cup form into fight for league survival

FORM: Action from the Vertu Trophy clash between Port Vale and Fleetwood Town on Tuesday, as Mo Faal heads towards goal.

The Valiants boss wants his team to find consistency, and says his players and staff are demanding more from each other as they try to climb the League One table from their lowly second-from-bottom spot.

Speaking about the weekend ahead, he said: "It’s been a solid week. The cup game [Fleetwood] was a quick turnaround from the game last Saturday and it’s something that we wanted.

"The beautiful thing that came out of Tuesday was minutes in the legs.

"There's quite a few players who gave us food for thought for the weekend game.
