RYAN Croasdale believes he is coping well with the step up in level that League One brings.

Midfielder Croasdale loving League One life with Vale...

While it was not a good day for the team, Croasdale scored his first goal of the season in the 3-2 defeat to Leyton Orient last weekend.

Asked how he is finding it, he admitted: “I think I've coped well. Playing five or six games is good for me. You can see that the standard has obviously risen and even the players we've brought in, we've got a big group and a good group. But I think I've dealt with it.

“I think you are just staying focussed. Obviously you have got to trust your own ability. We've got a focussed group. I think mentally there's lots of different challenges in terms of the opposition's formation, the other day against Orient you've got full backs rolling in so there's loads of different ones you've got to deal with and I think just staying focussed and focussed in the game is the main thing.
