Man pepper sprayed officer and 'tried to break her wrist'

A DAD-to-be tried to 'break a police woman's wrist' before attempting to douse her in PAVA spray.

Dylan Hall, below, was confronted by a lone female police dog handler in Crackley when he became 'angry' and attacked her.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard Hall grabbed the officer's arm and began 'twisting it' before trying to 'pull her towards the property' despite his own mum telling him to 'let go'.

Prosecutor Thomas Sherrington said the policewoman had been asked to attend the address in Cedar Road after reports of disorder. During her visit, one male stepped out of the property holding a machete, and when the officer pulled out her taser and told him to drop the weapon, Hall came out, shouting.
