- Sentinel Reporter

INSPIRATIONAL Esmée McGlinchey is to meet Prince Harry after winning a national award.

The six-year-old, who requires round-the-clock care as she is nonverbal and non-mobile, has been named as a winner in the WellChild Awards.

Esmée, of Stoke-on-Trent, who was nominated by her mum, will collect her award in London on September 8. Now in their 20th year, the awards are run by WellChild, the national charity for seriously ill children, and celebrates their inspirational achievements as well as those who care for them.

Esmée was chosen from hundreds of nominations from across the UK to win the Inspiration Child Age 4-6 Award, recognising her incredible bravery.
