'I'll never set foot in that place again'

A BLIND man has vowed never to set foot in a city pub again - after an early Father's Day outing left him feeling 'less than human.'
Wayne Pugh says he and his family were 'told to leave' and 'weren't welcome' at The Chatterley Whitfield following a dispute over their table.
Now hospitality giant Greene King, which runs the Chell venue, is investigating the 42-year-old's ordeal.
Mr Pugh, of Meir, said: "We'd asked for a certain table so my guide dog would have space. Instead, they shoved us in the bar area. Nobody else was eating there. It was just me, my parents and my brother.
"It seemed obvious to me what had happened, they had a big booking of 30 so they didn't have room.
"My guide dog had to lie in the busy walkway, so my brother had to step over her to get to the bar. My mum and brother were at the bar waiting to place an order when they were talking about whether they should leave a Google review about it."
Mr Pugh says the conversation was overheard by a member of staff.
