CREATIVE youngsters are hoping their Staffordshire-themed plates will find favour in a public vote to mark the county's special day.
-

Twenty primary schools have taken part in the competition, part of the celebrations for Staffordshire Day on May 1. Now members of the public are being asked to crown their winners. Pupils enjoyed the chance to take part and learn more about the county.
One said: “I drew this to show the amazing things about Staffordshire. Drawing was fun to do and I enjoyed creating a design for a plate to show the beauty of Staffordshire.”
