'Gangster' paid friend £1.6k to smash up pair’s property

A 'GANGSTER' who paid a mate £1,600 to repeatedly damage an address in an ongoing dispute has been spared jail.
Christopher Bloor, aged 30, plotted with 29-year-old Ryan Smart to smash a window at an address in Weston Road, Weston Coyney.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard Smart covered his face with a balaclava before breaking the living room window.
Now Bloor has been handed a suspended jail sentence, while Smart was fined and ordered to pay compensation.
Prosecutor Joshua Daley said the victims turned up at Longton Police Station on January 17, 2023 and reported criminal damage to their property and ongoing harassment.
