'Forgotten man' Ojo played starring role in Vale midfield

And yes, that includes the 5-0 beating of a woefully inept Bromley side last season.

The irony is it came with a player banished from their promotion campaign playing a starring role on his return to Vale Park from his loan spell at Shrewsbury.

Funso Ojo looked leaner, hungrier and absolute class in midfield for Vale alongside George Byers and Ryan Croasdale.

It’s difficult to imagine breaking up that midfield in future League One matches, given how comprehensive the display from all three men.
