Folk heroes to celebrate the city's musical heritage

Fenton event part of Stoke-on-Trent's centenary year
THE first ever Fenton Folk Day is being staged to help celebrate the city’s musical heritage during its centenary year.
Organised by the Potteries Folk Club, the event will take place on September 20 in and around Fenton Town Hall, above.
Organisers are promising a day of music, song, dance, storytelling, poetry and many other related activities.
Fenton Folk Day will honour local acts and will also bring nationally recognised musical acts to the Potteries, who will all perform in two blocks of afternoon and evening concerts.
