FINALS destination

WITH 104 matches and 48 teams playing across the US, Canada and Mexico, the 2026 World Cup presents a rare opportunity to combine exciting sporting action with a dream holiday.

Sixteen cities will host games and 11 of them are in the US. From fan zones, local celebrations and stadium energy, the atmosphere from June 11 to July 19 is set to be electric.

While Ocean Florida is not selling match tickets, the tour operator is offering tailored stays across all major host cities and places nearby with expert advice.

Why: A great base for the World Cup, just a three-hour drive from Miami and in the same time zone for seamless game viewing. Combine the tournament with a bucketlist holiday, enjoying theme parks, entertainment, and outdoor adventures.

What to do: Stay in budget-friendly villas with home cinemas, outdoor projectors, and games rooms. Explore the state’ famous theme parks, including Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando as well as lesser-known attractions like the Orlando Science Centre, or cool off at Aquatica or Volcano Bay water parks.

Watch the game: NBC Sports Grill and Brew at CityWalk, Universal CityWalk.

Stay: Seven nights at Champions Gate, Ocean 253, an eight-bed villa with private pool, spa, games room and cinema room from £670pp including flights.

Why: Hosting seven matches.
