EARLY-HOURS Big Macs could soon be a permanent fixture in Sandyford - if planners give the go-ahead.

McDonald's won the right to open the branch for three extra hours until 2am, seven days a week, on a 12-month trial last year.

Now it wants to make the arrangement permanent and has requested permission from Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

The fast food giant says it is not aware of 'any new disturbance or formal complaints' since the trial began on July 1, 2024.
