Family tributes after death of 'larger-than-life' soldier

A VETERAN diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) was found dead at his city home.

Devastated relatives have now led tributes to 'larger-than-life' Adam Huson following his death.

The 44-year-old had three attempts before achieving his dream of joining the Army. But Mr Huson left in 2019 following the PTSD diagnosis by the Army. He also struggled with the anniversary of his mum's death.

The tree surgeon received support from his GP surgery, referred himself to drugs and alcohol service CDAS, and was admitted to Harplands Hospital. He died at his home in Lombardy Grove, Meir, in December after taking a fatal amount of cocaine.
