Families promised 'hotspot' policing

Public meeting for worried residents

RESIDENTS across part of Stoke-on-Trent raised their safety concerns at a public meeting with police, council officers and local councillors.

During the meeting, people living in Meir were told about the success of hotspot policing in the area and heard that rates of antisocial behaviour have fallen.

And recently, monkey dust worth an estimated £1.5 million was seized after a parked van was searched off Weston Coyney Road, near the junction with the A520 Weston Road.
