New charge that he transported 41kg drugs
A DRUG dealer who was caught with £750,000 worth of cocaine has had his sentence extended by three years.
Former soldier Joseph Johnson ‘was sentenced to seven years in April 2023 after admitting possession with intent to supply the class A drug on October 18, 2022.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard police searched the 34-year-old’s Burslem bedsit and seized two packages both containing 250 grams of cocaine - worth £25,000 if sold in street deals.
They also recovered a kilo of cocaine, worth £100,000 if sold on the street, and three packages each containing two kilos and worth £200,000.
But Johnson, now aged 36, has been hauled before the same court and sentenced to a further three years after he pleaded guilty last month to conspiracy to supply cocaine between April 29, 2022 and October 18, 2022.
