18 months in jail after leaving animal to die
MUM Alicia Darcy is behind bars after killing her son’s dog with a samurai sword.
The 54-year-old left the weapon embedded in the animal while she called the police and claimed the pet had attacked her.
Now Darcy, of Platt Avenue, Sandbach, has been jailed for 18 months - and banned from having anything to do with animals.
