40-year-old jailed after 'revenge attack'

- Sentinel Reporter

ANGRY Daniel Willoughby stormed into a teenage boy's bedroom and repeatedly punched him as he slept.

The 40-year-old lost his temper after he had been told about an alleged incident inside his home.

The victim was left with facial injuries including a fractured nose and eye socket and a broken tooth.

Now Willoughby has been jailed for 29 months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.

Prosecutor Emmanuel Coniah said he 'flew into a rage' at 11.30pm on February 12, 2023 after being informed of the alleged incident.

He went to look for a 17-year-old and punched the windows of a house with his fists and kicked the front door. But it was the house next door that he wanted.

He approached the lad's house and his mum was at the door. She was 'resigned to letting him in.
