Tins, wood and cardboard found dumped in country lane

- Sentinel Reporter

A COUPLE have been slapped with a £600 fly-tipping fine after their rubbish was found dumped in a village.

The pair had employed a builder to carry out renovations on their home.

But they say the builder must have dumped the tins, wood, cardboard and plastic by the side of Beechdale Lane in Tittensor.

The couple, from Stoke-on-Trent, have not revealed the identity of the builder to investigators.
