Communities urged to show some Civic Pride in borough

Newcastle Borough Council is hosting events in Chesterton and Holditch, followed by Crackley and Red Street, on two consecutive days this week.

It's the latest instalment of a long-term scheme - delivered under a unified #PrideInNUL banner - which brings together council staff, partners and local residents to help create a cleaner, safer and friendlier borough for everyone.

A variety of activities are taking place in the Chesterton area on Wednesday, from 10am to 2pm, and there are different ways residents can get involved.
