STEVEN Nzonzi is proving to be more than a role model at Stoke City as Mark Robins is buoyed by the way he is starting to shift up through the gears.
Nzonzi, aged 36, hadn't played or trained with a team since May when he arrived back at Stoke to work under Robins in late July, hoping to earn a new deal at the club where he had proved one of the best midfielders in the Premier League a decade ago.
