GREENHOFFS were left to rue missed opportunities as they surrendered a two-goal advantage, allowing Bulldog to snatch a point in a dramatic Premier Division encounter.

The match began brightly for Greenhoffs, with Luke Lewis opening the scoring with a well-taken finish to give his side the early advantage.

Bulldog responded swiftly, drawing level through Hayden Dunn, who rose well at the back post to nod home a floated cross.

Despite the setback, Greenhoffs regained control and re-took the lead when Jordan Flattley, below, capitalised on a defensive lapse, smashing the ball home after Bulldog failed to clear their lines.

After the interval, Greenhoffs extended their lead further. Adam Catalano latched on to a ball over the top, showing great determination to beat the onrushing goalkeeper and head into an empty net, making it 3-1.

However, Bulldog refused to go down without a fight. They began to grow into the game, creating several chances and eventually found a route back when Dunn grabbed his second, calmly slotting into the bottom corner after a quick counter-attack.

The comeback was completed in the dying minutes, as Greenhoffs again failed to clear their lines, and Ryan Randell was on hand to fire home and secure a hard-earned point for Bulldog.

FC Lambourne moved up to third in the table following a comfortable 3-0 victory over bottom side Barber Life.

Despite dominating the first half and creating a flurry of chances, Lambourne were unable to find the breakthrough before the break.

Their persistence paid off in the second half, as Tom Shea finally broke the deadlock with a composed finish.
