Building society issues grants up to £5k

SEVEN charities who help people to live independently in North Staffordshire have received a cash boost from a partnership involving a Stoke-on-Trent building society.
The Hanley Economic - in partnership with the Community Foundation for Staffordshire - has awarded a total of £28,907 through its Hanley at Home Fund.
The Hanley at Home Fund was originally launched in April 2024 in partnership with the Community Foundation for Staffordshire and Shropshire.
It supports people in the community facing housing-related challenges.
The fund was reopened on April 1 and closed on June 1, allowing organisations to apply for grants of up to £5,000.
Charities have now been selected to receive funding, to the delight of all involved.
