NSSCL Divison Four leaders Audlem surprisingly suffered a four wicket defeat at home by Silverdale 2nds.

Audlem batted first and were bundled out for 134 with Ben Stokes - no, not that one - taking 4-25. Silverdale got home at 137-6, as Mick Moore top scored with 30.

That enabled Burslem 2nds to close the gap at the top to two points after a six wicket win at Hem Heath thirds at Forsbrook.

Hem Heath chose to bat with Dan Robinson holding their innings together with 65 from 61 balls as they were all out for 140. Syed Haider Bukhari took 3-32.

Burslem won the game by making 141-4 with the main contributions coming from Luca Abbotts with 42 and Chris Lowndes with 31.
