Angry dad 'waved' a machete in row over street parking

ANGRY Sean Smart brandished a machete as a street parking row saw armed police sent to a city street.

Sean Smart became embroiled in a row after his father shared a post about a neighbour in a Facebook group, 'parked like a t**t.

The neighbour then knocked on Smart's door, asked him where his father was and told him he 'shouldn't post things, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard.

Prosecutor Caroline Harris said: "Smart began pointing and gesticulating in a highly-aggressive manner. The victim returned home, where Smart's wife began profusely apologising for her husband's behaviour. Mr Smart then appeared, wielding what the victim described as a samurai sword.
