WELL, the wait is almost over as we look forward to a new season back in League One.
| quite enjoy the break from it for the first month or so, but Saturdays are never the same without football and I’m getting excited now about the big kickoff. It has been a busy summer at Vale Park and | think we've made some good additions to the squad with the likes of Gabriel, Humphreys and Shipley who all have a decent amount of experience at League One level and above.
| still think we need another experienced goalkeeper and a centre-forward but as Darren Moore said at the recent fan's forum we haven't seen the last of the ins and outs yet so hopefully there will be a few more signings yet.
