"Viksit Gaon, Viksit Odisha" program will greatly enhance the prosperity of the State: Minister Naik

ODISHA'S Minister for Panchayati Raj, Drinking Water and Rural Development, Rabi Narayan Naik, on Monday expressed confidence that the "Viksit Gaon, Viksit Odisha" (Developed Villages, Developed Odisha) program will significantly boost the state's development and_ prosperity.

The Minister made this statement during a detailed review meeting of various departmental schemes at the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department's conference hall in Lok Seva Bhavan, Bhubaneswar.

In his address to the gathering, which included key officials such as Chief Development Officers, Executive Officers, and Group Development Officers, Naik emphasized that the success of the "Viksit Gaon, Viksit Odisha" initiative holds the key to improving the living standards of rural areas, thereby contributing to the overall growth of Odisha.

The meeting focused on several major schemes that are currently being implemented under the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Ministry. These include the "Viksit Gaon, Viksit Odisha" program, the "Antyoday Griha Yojana,” "Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin)," the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), and ongoing drinking water projects.
