Our government committed to making performance of police personnel more effective: Odisha CM Majhi

"POLICE stations have a key role to play in maintaining law and order. Therefore, after coming to power, our government is taking all steps to modernize and streamline the police stations," said Chief Minister Mohan Majhi while inaugurating the newly constructed police station and reserve police office in Keonjhar Town.
Advising all the officers and employees working in the police stations to treat the people who come to the police stations with various problems well, the CM said as they come to you in trouble and with a heavy heart, they should be treated in a friendly manner.
Participating in a program organized at the newly constructed Town Police Station, the Chief Minister said that this police station, built at a total cost of Rs. 3.34 crores 14 lakhs, and the Reserve Police Officers and Staff, built at a cost of Rs. 2.76 crores 68 lakhs, will provide dedicated services to the general public. The Chief Minister expressed the hope that the people will get better quality services through these police stations.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister flagged off 17 SUVs and 80 motorcycles for the police personnel.
