OIL and CMC sign MoU for setting up CBG Plant at Jagatpur

In a major move towards sustainable waste management and clean energy production, Oil India Limited (OIL) and the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) have signed a Concessionaire Agreement for the design, financing construction, operation, and maintenance of a 200-TPD MSW-based CBG plant with plans to expand it to 300 TPD over the next 3 to 5 years.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Ranjan Goswami, Executive Director of OIL and Anam Charan Patra, Commissioner of CMC in the presence of Housing & Urban Development Minister Krishna Chandra Mahapatra, corporators, and other officials.
