Kalinga Studio will be transformed into a world-class film hub: CM Majhi

DISHA Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday visited the historic Kalinga Studio in Bhubaneswar and announced a major revamp of the facility, declaring that it will be transformed into a state-of-the-art, self-contained film production complex.
He directed the Industries Department to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) to take the modernization forward.
“Kalinga Studio will be developed as a world-class, self-sufficient studio with cutting-edge infrastructure and technology. This is essential for the growth of the Odia film industry,” the Chief Minister said during his visit. “All stakeholders from the film fraternity will be consulted to ensure the redevelopment reflects the needs of modern filmmaking,” he added.
