INDIA'S infrastructure sector is witnessing unprecedented growth, with strategic projects transforming connectivity across diverse regions while preserving their unique characteristics.
The government's comprehensive approach is creating a seamless transportation network that bridges geographical divides and accelerates economic integration nationwide. In the northeastern states and hill regions, a Rs 620 crore investment under PMGSY-III is overcoming challenging terrain through specialized engineering solutions. Manipur alone is constructing 41 roads spanning 280.97 km with Rs 225.15 crore, adding to existing projects. Mizoram's Rs 67.69 crore allocation focuses on seven crucial long-span bridges, while Himachal Pradesh receives Rs 140.90 crore for 21 bridges. Uttarakhand's Rs 40.77 crore will fund nine bridges, collectively enhancing access to remote villages, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions while unlocking the tourism potential of these ecologically sensitive areas.
