|May 27, 2025
THE Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has refused to provide copy of sanitation tender under RTI Act citing that it is confidential as per section 8 (e) of RTI Act.
The denial of civic body authority to provide information to a Corporator has triggered discontentment among the citizens who are alleging that when CMC is refusing to provide information to a Corporator, then imagine about general public seeking information from the civic body under RTI Act.
As per reports, the CMC has engaged three outsourcing manpower agencies through tender for carrying out sanitation work in the city.
