With static trust rating, VP continues work

Vice President Sara Duterte will continue to work as her trust rating hardly moved from 60 percent in May to 61 percent in June.

"Probably (the trust rating of Duterte hardly moved because) the plans, programs, activities or accomplishments of the Vice President and the Office of the Vice President have not been highlighted or have not been brought down to the public for them to know," OVP spokesperson Ruth Castelo said yesterday.

Based on the Social Weather Stations survey commissioned by the Stratbase group from June 25 to 29, respondents who had little trust in Duterte remained at 23 percent, while undecided respondents went down from 16 to 14 percent.

Duterte obtained a net trust rating of +38, a slight improvement from +37 in May.

"As we go along, the Vice President just simply continues what she's doing and what she has vowed to do for the country," Castelo added.
