'Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert' adds extra show in Manila

Concerts PH has announced an additional performance date for "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back In Concert," following overwhelming public demand.

The symphonic event, featuring the Grammy-winning score of legendary composer John Williams performed live to film, will now run for two nights — Aug. 30 and the newly added Aug. 31 at The Theatre at Solaire.
Under the direction of acclaimed conductor Gerard Salonga, the Filharmonika Orchestra will bring to life the sweeping soundtrack of the 1980 sci-fi epic while the film plays in full on screen. The event is part of Film Concerts PH's ongoing Star Wars live-to-picture concert series, which began with "Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert" in September 2024.
