The Philippine Star
|January 17, 2026
A living tradition of faith and freedom
Faith has a way of flowing from the heart outward.
Nowhere is this more evident than in Cebu, where the Sinulog Festival transforms the streets into a vibrant expression of devotion to the city's patron, the Holy Child Jesus.
Every sway of the dancers mirrors a prayer, and every echo of the drums tells a story of gratitude and hope.
What unfolds is more than a festival: it is a shared act of remembrance, where culture and belief intertwine seamlessly.
