'Sing Galing' jukeboss Nina names songs that define her career

Nina is again wearing the hat of a jukeboss for the “Sing-lebrity Edition” of “Sing Galing” on TV5.

- By JERRY DONATO

Similar to the regular edition, the Asia’s Diamond Soul Siren sits on the judging panel to appreciate each performance and shares her insights.

The celebrity singing contestants should listen to the advice of every jukeboss for them to surpass the varied segments such as the I-Random Challenge, Sing Galingan Kanta, Duelo-oke Extreme, Trio-oke and A-Sing-Tado Performance.

With fun and hard work, they might reach the Kantastic Finale.

“It’s super exciting, kumbaga, one tick on my bucket list for me,” said Nina about being a jukeboss or judge in a recent brief chat with The STAR after the press conference.

“I've been singing all my life, and of course, I want to share my knowledge about singing and want to watch out for new talents.”

These talents also include entertainment and social media personalities, who step out of their comfort zone and test the waters in a singing videoke competition like “Sing Galing.” The latter airs Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 8.
