RRHI Posts Higher Core Earnings in First Half

Gokongwei-owned Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI) delivered higher core earnings in the first half, driven by strong revenue growth and improved operating efficiencies.

RRHI posted core earnings of P2.8 billion in the first semester, up by 4.3 percent from last year. Net income attributable to equity holders of the parent company during the six-month period, however, plunged by almost 67 percent to P2.3 billion, due primarily to the one-time gain from the Bank of the Philippine Islands and Robinsons Bank merger booked in early 2024.
