PSEi, peso strengthen after Israel-Iran ceasefire

The local stock market and the peso both advanced yesterday as investor sentiment improved amid easing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and declining global oil prices.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index climbed its way back above the 6,300 level, rising by 0.52 percent or 32.89 points to 6,325.64.
The broader All Shares index also capped off the session in the win column, rising by 0.41 percent or 15.23 points to 3,754.43.
