Poland, Philippines deepen ties in defense and digital cooperation

Poland and the Philippines are strengthening cooperation in defense, trade, and technology to address shared challenges and opportunities in today's changing global landscape.
EXPANDING DEFENSE COOPERATION
Poland recently affirmed its support for closer defense cooperation with the Philippines and for upholding international law, particularly in maintaining peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
According to an October 2025 report by GMA News Online, the Polish government expressed readiness to enhance collaboration on defense matters, including capacity building and information exchange.
The initiative aligns with the Philippines' broader effort to diversify its defense partners.
In earlier statements, the Department of National Defense (DND) said cooperation with European countries strengthens the country's capability development programs, particularly in logistics, training, and technology transfer.
