PNP to monitor CPP anniversary

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is closely monitoring the Dec. 26 Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) anniversary, traditionally a time of heightened security threats.
Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, PNP public information office chief, said in a press briefing at Camp Crame yesterday that the CPP event is part of their security preparations, especially for isolated and vulnerable police stations in far-flung areas.
