PAL to start Manila-Palau route by March 2026

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its presence in the Pacific Islands, mounting weekly flights to Palau starting next year to add another destination to its foreign network.

In an advisory, PAL announced the launch of a new service between Manila and Palau, slated to begin on March 29, 2026 on a twice-weekly schedule.

PAL president Richard Nuttall said the airline has decided to enter Palau to widen its reach in the Pacific Islands, where it is currently present via Guam.

Moreover, Nuttall wants the flight to serve as a springboard for Filipinos to a destination famed for its marine attractions. Palau is one of the most popular countries in the Pacific Islands for its clear waters, coral reefs and dive sites.
