Food lovers come together for the most flavorful event of the year
The PhilSTAR Media Group (PMG), in partnership with Mercato Centrale Group and Federal Land Inc., hosted Nakakalocal Gen Y to Z: Food Fest from February 28 to March 2, 2025, at MET Park in Pasay City.
Present at the event launch were PMG's Miguel Belmonte, CEO and president, Lucien Dy Tioco, executive vice-president, and Jay Sarmiento, vice-president for Sales and Marketing. In attendance, too, were Mercato Centrale Group's RJ Ledesma, CEO, and Vanessa Pastor Ledesma, president; Federal Land Inc. Marketing Head Cathy Bengzon, Tourism Operations Officer II of Pasay City Bayani Liwanag Jr., and Miss Universe Philippines 2025-Basey Samar Yoshabel Lebico.
The bazaar brought together over 80 food merchants nationwide, delighting attendees with the best of Filipino cuisine, exciting games, awards, and live performances.
FLAVOR FAME AWARDS: THE ULTIMATE FOOD SHOWDOWNThe Food Fest celebrated the diversity of Filipino flavors. It featured four food categories: NakakaTakam (Savory Bites), NakakaTamis (Dessert Haven), NakakaGana (Spice Station), and NakakaTighaw (Beverage Depot).
