Most powerful super SUV: Lamborghini launches Urus SE plug-in hybrid

Latest model combines 800 hp, 950 Nm of torque with over 60 km of electric range

Lamborghini launches in the Philippines the new Urus SE, which through a newly developed plug-in hybrid system becomes the most powerful production super SUV currently available in the market.
Beating with two hearts, the Urus SE is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine complemented by a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor housed within the eight-speed automatic transmission. Combined, the system produces 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque.
This power output enables the Urus SE to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h.
While achieving these, the Urus SE also offers over 60 kilometers of electric-only driving range.
Incorporated into the super SUV's hybrid system are four new driving modes specific to electric operation: EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge.
