Meralco powering more PEZA ecozones

Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) of tycoon Manuel V. Pangilinan has teamed up with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) to power more emerging economic hubs.

Under a recently signed memorandum of understanding, the parties will collaborate to build and energize PEZA-owned ecozones, including the Pantao Ecozone in Albay and the Palawan Mega Ecozone in Puerto Princesa.

Pangilinan, who chairs Meralco, led the signing of the agreement with PEZA, led by director general Tereso Panga and deputy director general for policy and planning Anidelle Joy Alguso.
