Guanzon, Llamas exchange barbs
The Philippine Star
|December 09, 2025
Former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner Rowena Guanzon and political analyst Ronald Llamas yesterday traded barbs online.
Prior to this, Guanzon had gone viral on social media after she was recorded on video berating a Chinese mallgoer in Makati over the weekend.
Guanzon said Llamas started attacking her by insinuating that she had wrongly criticized a Chinese man who allegedly told her to leave Rockwell mall after she coughed once due to an itchy throat.
"Bumaba na naman self-esteem ko. Wala akong Rolex and Gucci eh," Llamas posted online, apparently referring to Guanzon's outburst.
Guanzon hit back at Llamas, saying, "it is normal for him to experience low self-esteem because he is ugly."
She said Llamas has no right to criticize her because she did not commit any crime.
